Today I got to sleep in for the first time all week, I made my breakfast and went back downstairs for a bit before trying to figure out what my roommate and I were going to do for the day.

To help us figure out what we were going for the rest of the day, we texted two of our new buddies to see what they wanted to do. After a bit of talking, we all agreed that we would go hiking today.

At 3:30 we met at this hiking place called Flattop Mountain. The views from the top were amazing you could almost see all of Anchorage from up there, it was 3,000 feet above sea level, so the air was pretty thin at the top. On our descent, we had almost made it down the trail where there was snow and lots of mud, we in the snow trying to avoid the mud when one of our buddies slip in the snow and fell. We all had a good laugh as we finished making our way down the trail.

When we made it down, we talked for a little bit before parting ways for the day. When we got home, we showered and watched one of our old teammate's games from Hockey T.V. before heading to dinner at this Mexican restaurant that was closing tonight. It was some good food that we got there. I am hoping they open up their new building soon so we can go back there again to eat.

When we got home my roommate and I talked with our billet dad again for some time before heading downstairs for bed.
