Daily Dish: USPHL Jersey Shore Whalers Lost at Sea Canadian Junior Hockey News

That Angel of Death guy has a funny way of spreading the gospel of Richard Gallant and his United States Premier Hockey League. Part of the doctrine includes making a mockery of the North American Hockey League's branded NA3HL with every opportunity. IN MY OPINION, this could be to discredit the USA Hockey sanctioned league in an effort to try and legitimize the outlaw group in the court of public opinion.

Does the AoD ever mention troubles within the USPHL? Heck no, that's certainly not allowed. We constantly get calls from families that elected to ignore all the red flags and join Gallant's group. It does not take long before it's discovered that doing so is a lot like checking into the roach motel; once the money is in, it's never going to get back out.

The latest round of complaints have been generated from the Jersey Shore after the sudden demise of the USPHL Premier Division's Whalers. The expectation is that the league would step in and make sure every player would be placed with other teams and that any fees paid to date would be applied to that new team.

The players I really feel sorry for are the internationals. Many countries have followed Canada's lead and are not allowing return to domestic competition after October 1st if the player has played in non-sanctioned leagues.

Meanwhile, players and families are once again being left out in the cold without any recourse other than to sign yet another contract with the team Gallant wants to send the players to.

Yea right. The smart folks should take that opportunity and sprint back into the arms of of USA Hockey. If help finding a team is needed, please feel free to contact me directly and I'll do whatever possible to get what was paid applied to the new team. In almost every case, we can do this for skaters. Goalies however are a completely different animal.

Unfortunately, you will likely not see any mention of the Whalers' situation on that other guy's site, while any issues within the NA3HL become something to celebrate and ridicule. That guy even goes as far as to associate the NA3HL with Canada's non-sanctioned Greater Metro Hockey League. As a result, the league has suffered serious combined financial losses rumored to be in excess of $1,000,000 over that last four seasons. That's a lot of hurt that has so far gone unpunished.

Meanwhile, it seams that anytime we happen to mention the USPHL, there's a certified letter and email from the law firm of Cole Shotz. As a result, the entire structure of this site has been altered to eliminate exposure to Gallant's legal bullying.

It would be a good idea to actually cut and paste this article into your own social media sites. There's a very good chance it will be deleted before the end of the day.
